What to Do in Daytona Beach at Night: A Local's Guide

By Tiki Mike · 2026-08-05 · Tiki Mike's, Daytona Beach

The short answer

After dark, Daytona Beach runs on five things: the boardwalk and pier, free oceanfront concerts at the Bandshell, live bands on Main Street, the bar strip on Seabreeze Blvd, and a nighttime beach walk to reset between rounds. You can hit most of that list in one night, because everything on the beachside sits within a few minutes of everything else.

The lineup

The Boardwalk and Pier. Arcade lights, rides in season, and the classic pier view. Touristy? Sure. Still worth a sunset stroll before the night gets going.

The Bandshell. Daytona's oceanfront amphitheater stages free concerts on Friday and Saturday nights through the summer, with fireworks over the ocean after some Saturday shows. Bring a chair or rent one there.

Main Street. The biker-bar row: Main Street Station, Froggy's Saloon, The Bank & Blues Club. Live bands, loud rooms, and a scene that peaks during Bike Week and Biketoberfest.

Seabreeze Blvd. The bar strip, and where we come in. Tiki Mike's at 312 Seabreeze is our tiki room: rum in carved mugs, grunge on Tuesdays, football on the weekends, and brick oven pizza from next door. The strip around us runs door to door. Here's the full walk-through.

The beach itself. Cars come off the sand in the evening, and a dark, quiet ocean walk hits different at midnight. It's the best free thing in town.

A sample Saturday, timed out

Time Move
Noon Game day at Tiki Mike's, if Ohio State is playing
7 PM Sunset on the pier or boardwalk
8 PM Dinner: brick oven pizza on Seabreeze or bar food on Main Street
9:30 PM A band on Main Street, or a Bandshell show in summer
11 PM Back to the Seabreeze strip for the last rounds
2 AM Last call, then a beach walk to end it right

Know before you go

Most Daytona Beach bars close at 2 AM, and we close at midnight on weeknights and Sundays (the full last-call rundown is here). Big event weeks pack every venue in town, and rideshares are the smart play if the night involves more than a round or two.

Start or end with us at 312 Seabreeze Blvd, open Tuesday through Sunday. See what's on this week or join the Tiki Crew.
