Tiki Mike’s Daytona Beach is proudly owned and operated by Mike Harrer and Melissa Parreira — a dynamic couple whose partnership is built on shared ambition, complementary strengths and a genuine love of people.

Together, Mike and Melissa bring two distinct personalities and skill sets to Tiki Mike’s that are equally effective behind the scenes and in the middle of the action.

Mike is the larger-than-life personality of the two and behind much of the energy at Tiki Mike’s. Known throughout the community as DJ Magic Mike, he brings more than 35 years of experience in DJ entertainment, marketing, promotions and events. His energy, creativity and natural ability to bring people together are at the heart of the Tiki Mike’s experience.

Melissa is often behind the scenes, but she’s far from a wallflower. Warm, social and genuinely welcoming, Melissa loves getting to know the people who walk through the doors and helping Mike create the kind of atmosphere where strangers become friends.

As business partners and life partners, Mike and Melissa share a passion for people, hospitality and creating something they can truly call their own. Their goal is to make Tiki Mike’s a place where locals, visitors and everyone in between can walk through the door, make lasting memories, and turn an ordinary night into an experience.

Meet Mike

Mike Harrer, known as DJ Magic Mike of Mobile Jox, brings more than 35 years of experience in DJ entertainment, marketing and promotions to Tiki Mike’s. His background includes promotions with national brands such as Budweiser, Samuel Adams, Absolut Vodka and Cîroc, along with entertainment and event work at Daytona Beach Bike Week, Biketoberfest, Jeep Beach, RumFest and Pro Football Hall of Fame events.

Through Mobile Jox, Mike has spent decades helping bars, nightclubs, festivals and hospitality businesses turn a night out into a memorable experience. That same passion guides Tiki Mike’s: bringing people together, keeping the crowd engaged, and building a place that feels like part of the community.

Meet Melissa

Behind the scenes at Tiki Mike’s, Melissa brings years of professional experience, a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for connecting with people.

Melissa has more than 20 years of experience in mortgage lending, including 13 years with one of the nation’s leading homebuilders, consistently ranked as America’s #1 homebuilder since 2002.

Her professional career has been built on determination, accuracy and a strong drive to succeed — qualities she now brings to the business side of Tiki Mike’s. While Mike is often the face and the energy of the room, Melissa is frequently working behind the scenes to make sure everything comes together.

Melissa’s connection to Tiki Mike’s goes beyond operations. She’s naturally social and enjoys meeting people, building connections and making guests feel genuinely welcome from the moment they arrive. Her connection to motorcycle culture is reflected in her appearances on the covers of Thunder Roads and Dixie Biker magazines, celebrating the motorcycle lifestyle.

Melissa is professionally driven and takes pride in everything she puts her name behind. Above all her professional accomplishments, however, Mike and her family are what matter most to her.
