The short answer
Seabreeze Blvd is Daytona Beach's bar strip: a few walkable blocks on the beachside, steps from the sand, where most of the city's nightlife sits door to door. Park once and you can hit half a dozen bars without getting back in the car.
Full disclosure: we run one of them. But a good night on Seabreeze usually means a few stops, so here's the honest walk-through.
The walk, door by door
Tiki Mike's (312 Seabreeze Blvd) is us. Rum drinks in carved tiki mugs, torches and bamboo, and a week worth planning around: Distortion Tuesdays with 90s and 2000s grunge, $1 Wing Wednesdays, and football weekends for Ohio State, the Browns and the Bengals, with the doors open at noon. Closed Mondays.
Purple Mushroom Brick Oven Pizza (316 Seabreeze) is our neighbor and our kitchen: brick oven pizza, calzones, subs, pasta, salads and wings. Eat there, or order from your stool at Tiki Mike's and it comes over hot.
Coyote Ugly Saloon (512 Seabreeze) is exactly what you think it is: bartenders up on the bar, loud and proud, in the best way.
Seabreeze Taphouse sits right beside Coyote Ugly. It's the beer stop, with a long tap list, pool tables and darts.
509 Lounge (509 Seabreeze) is the strip's club, for when you want a DJ and a later, dressier night.
The Oyster Pub is the elder statesman, with oysters and sports-bar comfort, and a solid food base before a long night.
How to do the strip in one night
- Start early. On Saturdays and Sundays we're open from noon, and game day fills the room fast.
- Eat something real. Brick oven pizza from Purple Mushroom, or oysters up the block.
- Wander. Every room on this strip has a different personality. That's the point of Seabreeze.
- Know the clock. Seabreeze bars can pour until 2 AM. We close at midnight on weeknights and Sundays, and at 2 AM on Fridays and Saturdays. Here's the full last-call rundown.
