The short answer
Most bars in Daytona Beach close at 2 AM, the latest the city allows on a normal night. By default, city law ends alcohol sales at midnight; bars with an extended-hours permit can stay open until 2 AM. Daytona Beach used to allow a 3 AM close, but the city moved it back to 2 AM in 2022, with 3 AM kept for certain designated days.
Tiki Mike's hours
We're at 312 Seabreeze Blvd, and our close depends on the night:
| Day | Hours |
|---|---|
| Monday | Closed |
| Tuesday – Thursday | 6 PM – midnight |
| Friday | 6 PM – 2 AM |
| Saturday | Noon – 2 AM |
| Sunday | Noon – midnight |
We open at noon on weekends because Saturdays and Sundays are game day.
When is last call?
Last call usually comes 15 to 30 minutes before closing, so there's time to pour it and time to finish it. At Tiki Mike's that means getting your final round in a little before midnight on weeknights and Sundays, and a little before 2 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.
Big weeks change everything
During Bike Week (early March), Speedweeks and the Daytona 500 (February), spring break, and Biketoberfest (October), the whole strip runs packed from sundown on. Closing times barely move, but lines do. Show up early if you want a stool instead of a spot at the rail.
How locals play it
Pick your night by what's on. Tuesdays are Distortion Tuesdays, with 90s and 2000s grunge from 6 PM. Wednesdays bring $1 wings from Purple Mushroom Brick Oven Pizza next door. Saturdays and Sundays we open at noon for Ohio State, Browns and Bengals football, and Sunday nights end with karaoke.
